Timeless Travels began with Henry and Liis — two explorers with a love for Estonia’s landscapes, legends, and untold stories.

What started as spontaneous family road trips soon became something bigger: a way to share the real Estonia with travelers who seek more than just tourist sights.

From medieval castles to hidden forest trails, from tea shared with locals to stories passed down through generations, we created Timeless Travels to make every journey authentic, personal, and unforgettable.

Leho Lahtvee

Originally from Lääne-Virumaa, near the Lahemaa border areas.

Studied Adventure Education (Master’s degree from a foreign university). He enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, and climbing services — activities that require ingenuity, as unexpected situations often occur on trips.

A true nature lover; plays an important role in environmental education — Alutaguse Hiking Club also operates as a provider of environmental education.

Additional hobbies: exploring cultural heritage and collecting comic books.

Ivika Maidre

Works at the Vaivara Blue Hills Museum; the Sinimäed hills and North-Eastern Estonia are her area of work, where the history of places and people’s stories are at the center of her interests.

Interested in history, wars, border situations, and the fate of people throughout history — especially through the battles of World War II, the destinies and events in the Narva region in 1944 and beyond, interpreting and narrating events from the perspective of humanity and history.

She presents stories that are not just factual accounts, but explore how people in their context relate to history — questions of choice, sovereignty, the past and its influence on the present.

Victoria Bastion, Narva

Denis Bjorkland

Works as a guide in the casemates of the Victoria Bastion in Narva, where the casemates are one of his main tour sites.

He considers guiding an excellent opportunity for personal growth: in daily work, he has the chance to develop both communication skills and the ability to understand other people.

Constantly seeks to do something new: develop services and exhibits, diversify tours, and be creative.

Values his working environment — the team and supportive leadership.

In his view, visiting the casemates of the Victoria Bastion is a meaningful experience: not only for history enthusiasts but also for those who appreciate sensing history, atmosphere, and challenges.
